Dryer Vent Cleaning

Dryer vents should be inspected and cleaned on a yearly basis. In homes with more people and or small children, your dryer is used more often than normal. Consider having your vents inspected and cleaned every 6 months. On an average in the US, there are 2,900 dryer fires every year. A dirty or clogged dryer vent will also cause your dryer to run longer than it needs too resulting in higher electric bills, and will eventually damage the dryer and heating element.
